About Us

TriCounty Landscape Creations is owned by Curtis "Bobby" Showalter, who started the business in 2005 at the young age of 18 after graduating from the Berks Career & Technology Center at the top of his landscaping and horticulture class. Curtis gained experience working hand in hand with his instructor in school, and has gone on to serve on the board at the Berks Career and Technology Center in the hopes of giving other young the people the opportunity to attain a current and quality education. He continuously goes above and beyond not just in his relationships with his customers, but in his relationship with the surrounding communities as well.

Curtis got his start in the landscaping industry early in life. In fact, his first piece of equipment came from an elderly neighbor down the street when he was just 13. Curtis asked him if he needed help taking care of his property that summer and after several weeks of diligent work, the generous man gave him the tractor for use on other lawns with the promise of continued service for his own. That relationship taught Curtis the value of looking out for one’s customers and showing them that you really care and he continues to operate under that principle today.
